Everyday the YMCA of Greater Rochester touches the lives of thousands of people in our community. For some, it is a life-changing experience while for others it is about making a personal connection that helps them to feel more comfortable and welcome. Our goal at the YMCA is to weave together the fabric of the many lives that we touch to create a colorful tapestry that is more beautiful than any single strand.

This year, the YMCA of Greater Rochester invites you to share in this work of art by becoming directly involved in our 2008 Invest in Youth Campaign whose theme is 'Coloring Our Community.' Our overall goal for the Greater Rochester YMCA is $1,250,000 and the goal for the Eastside Branch is $77,500. As always, 100% of the money we raise will stay in our own community to be used for financially assisting your neighbors in need of YMCA programs and services.

No matter where you live, there is a YMCA close to your home or office. Our common mission is to promote health and wellness and to improve the lives of those we serve. That may be sending a needy child to experience the wonder of summer camp or giving a membership to an elderly person who is recovering from the effects of a stroke. The YMCA is here to serve everyone and we take that responsibility very seriously.
